Homemade costumes are a lot of fun! Many times, they take the most thought and creativity. People spend months planning their homemade costumes! It is easy to go out, buy a scream mask and throw on a hooded sweatshirt! While that can be a lot of fun, you are probably not going to win any costume contests! So, homemade costumes still incorporate many store bought items and accessories but they come together like a instruments in a symphony once all pieced together. A great hat, well placed make-up, face painting and some thrift store shopping can go a long way to making a great costume.
